Hello All!! I hope you enjoy the pics! This kit is playable from three different positions from one drum throne. It is my personal drum kit created by myself over this past year. There are many famous drummer's kits that ideas have come from that I incorporated into this. Thank you, JohnnyC

That is the kit that was featured at a trade show in the south not too long ago. I think someone here posted it actually... I'll have to go do some digging...

Edit: Not denying your claim, I just have seen that kit before because it was at a tradeshow....

Found it! (Not the link, but the info!)

It was featured at the Nashville Southern Tradeshow in July. Must have been one crazy kit to look at in person. Definitely would be fun to have, welcome to the forum JohnnyC.

Welcome to CSM Johnny C  Awesome to have you here.

I do not even know where to begin on this "Out of this world" masterpiece drumset. All I do know is if someone pinches me about now they will be in some serious trouble :D :D That's some SERIOUS drum porn right there      SERIOUS!!!!!

Personally, I love the sound of an acrylic kit. Especially the bigger floor toms

I'm sure I will revisit this thread many times in the future. :D AWESOME Johhny, thank you for posting this.

Kind regards

Thank you Guys!!! This kit was just at The Southern Drumshow in Nashville,TN. I don't play with anyone right now and if I did this would be very hard to take out there. I would of course be playing a very small kit. I did play out for many years and now I just do drum shows. It took us over 9hrs. in Nashville to setup the kit. It was due to the way we transported it that caused lots of problems when I got there with the setup. It's really not that hard to play this cuz everything is setup with a call and answer type of thinking. You can play three kits from one drum throne by just turning in your seat left or right. I didn't want to do a copy of Terry's kit so I had to do my homework to create something that noone else had done yet. The idea for a three position kit came from looking at Mike Portney's kit. He has two drum throne to play his kit. I wanted it to be from one. Mike's kit is 20 drums this is 48pcs. total. If any of you have any questions about RCI drums or setting up drums differently I would be happy to answer all questions. You can contact me at pearljrc@hotmail.com. Thank you again for the warm welcome! JohnnyC

You mean how much did it cost to build the kit or to make an insurance for it...? :D:laugh:

Just like with some other massive kits, all I can think of is the face of the player after everything is set up, when the producer says "just play a shuffle."

That is a beautiful work of art, and I imagine it sounds equally beautiful. Great stuff.

Welcome Johnny! That is an amazing work of art. I could spend hours. Probably end up with hemorrhoids from setting too long.

Very Sweet Bro!

And thank Boomer for the vid.

Hello!! Thanks for posting the vid!! Not one of my better days at the drums. I had to play waring dress shoes when I normally play bare footed. Plus everytime I would start to play they told us we had to stop because the kit was bleeding into the mics downstairs! Thank you everyoone for the great comments! A lot of work went into creating this kit and it's great to have others enjoy it. These are truly amazing sounding drums. If you live in CT. and want to play this kit just call me!! Thanks again, JohnnyC P.S. Some pics from the Southern Drumshow for everyone!

Johnny,

I had to cancel my trip to the Southern Drum show at the last minute. Did you meet Chris Jensen while you were there? I know he was really interested in the RCI booth. He was my 'date' for the trip, but Wifey-Poo got sick so I had to remain here in KY.

I would have loved to see that kit in person.
