    DW Stainless Steel Drums

    OfficialDrummer
    • Article Credits: Official Drummer News Crew, DW Drums

Already being used on tour by some of DW’s top artists and offered in a variety of sizes, the 1.5mm rolled shells with folded bearing edge can be complemented by any of five Custom Shop hardware colors. The drums come standard with Double A 2-ply DW Heads and boast big, round, resonant sound and a remarkably rich, warm tonal quality.

Good job.  You found a DW kit I'd willingly pay too much for, then pay them extra and thank them for taking my money.

The folded bearing edge along with the head fit is advantageous and gives for a FAAAAAT sound.. Or is that Phat nowadays :D

I'd like to see the other colors.  Black lugs, rims and hardware would make that look really bad-ass.  Anyone hear them yet?

Ludwig did some stainless drums back in 2010.  I did like the brushed more than polished for their set.  With the DW lugs/grommets and hardware, I think I'd still keep the set just like this even if they had a brushed version, or different hardware colors.

As for sound, this is all I found in a quick search:
